OHSAS 18001
OHSAS 18001 is a system developed to take care of the organisation's health and safety needs. In absence of any ISO Standard on safety, it was thought by the certification bodies to develop a standard for occupational health and safety.
To compliment OHSAS 18001, OHSAS 18002 was published, which explains the requirements of the specification and shows you how to work toward implementation and registration. OHSAS is a standard based on Plan, Do, Check, Act (PDCA) cycle.
